i have just recieved a free sidekick 2 but i have at & t. does anybody have a unlock code?

but i do not have a t-mobile sim card but i do have an at & t is that still okay?

No, you must have a tmobile sim card. Sidekicks are not unlockable, so your At&t sim will not work in it.

I dont understand, people are asking for help and the only thing you have to say are rude comments. And quite frankly you dont know what your talking about. I have 5 friends that have sidekicks that all have different carriers and they have all had their sidekicks unlocked.
You need to find something better to do with your time then write rude messages for people that are just asking for help.

Sorry I am not writting the messages you want to hear, but if you go to support.t-mobile.com and search for sidekick unlock, you will see that tmo's policy is not to unlock them.
I am attempting to protect people on here. A lot of the sk unlocks are scams that either don't work or cause the sk to stop working.
And it would help if people would quit asking for an unlock, there are a million posts on here about it that no one seems to believe.

The unlock code for each sk2 is different, so no one will know your code offhand.
Watch out for internet scams about the unlock, most of them break the phone.
Finally, as always, tmobiles policy is that the phone is not unlockable. Because of this, if it does get unlocked, without a tmobile sim only the voice features will work. Internet, I'M and email will not fuction.
