Lovin this new phone but I am having a ton of app problems with it.
1. My voice recorder doesnt want to work, when I hit record all it does is say "error"
2. My pc synch doesnt work either. When ever I try to use the software to transfer over a file to the phone it says "unknown error" So the only way for me to get files on the phone is thru Mass Storage.
3. I tried the mp3 tp 3gp trick. I got it all to work but when it asks me to move my ringtone to the phone I get a "no entry" error so I cannot get my mp3s from the card to the phone

I don't know about problems 1 and 3, but for problem 2, don't feel alone. PC synch doesn't work for anybody. Samsung goofed on this and they are supposed to be putting out a fix...don't hold your breath. The only way you can switch files from phone to PC or PC to phone is by using the "File Manager."

regarding File Manager...I can't even make that work. I think the problem is the phone won't connect to the PC, but when I go to the wizard to "create connection," the only option I have is to remove existing connections. Is the whole program (PC Studio) a mess? Would appreciate any input.
Thx

I had no problems when installing and using PC Studio, but because the program is not user friendly I uninstalled it. Windows does recognize my phone as a USB mass storage device in "My Computer".
So try uninstalling the samsung software, reboot windows, and plug the phone in. Make sure the phone is set to "mass storage"!
Hope this helps?
