My friend unlocked me a T-Mobile Samsung e315. I use it for cingular fine, but I can;t get on the internet. I have searched everywhere for wap settings but have not found any that apply to me. I put in *#87927#. THen I click Voicestream GPRS.
It gives me 8 lists.
1. Profile Name
2. Homepage URL
3. Security
4. Bearer
5. IP ADress
6. User name
7. PAssword
8. APN
I would really really appreciate anyones help for these settings. PLease PLease. THankS!

you can also check the sticky at teh top and find a similar samsung

thanks for the replies, but theres one problem because for the homepage it says to put in http://device.home and i cant find a way to put that period in.... any help?

it should just be http://home as far as i remember.

Okay! my phone internet works. Thanks. But then again theres one problem, whenever I try to download a ringtone it says that I can't on my phone. Anybody know the reasons? Thanks.

what kind of phone does Cingular think you have?
it may be the system telling you the ringtone you are trying to dload is not compatible with your phone

Well I'm using a unlocked T-Moblie Samsung e315. When I try to download a ringtone it says
"We're sorry but the prduct you requested is no currently aviailable for your phone. Please return to the MEdia Mall storefront Home Page"
Is there anything I can d about this?

call cingular... tell them you have an e317 (cingular model of the 315) and have it entered in the system the will update your IMEI at the same time
