i am having a problem with my smart movie mobile player application  .
the problem is when i play a clip in the player after few seconds the application crashes and a error comes on screen "app. closed Smart movie" 
that is so frustrating i mean none of my clips or songs work on the player right.
so wat could be the problem any help would be appriciated

Did you try re-installing smartmovie?

yes i tried re-installing it several times but the problem is still there. when i contacted lonely cat games they said just download it from our site the new version! 3.13 i think.

Is it possible you've installed something that permanently runs in the background (or is running while your try using SmartMovie) that might create this crash?

nope nothing runs in background.
i examined the problem, and noticed that when i play a clip the sound plays faster than the video and after 6 sec it crashes.
I visited the forums of smart movie at lonelycatgames but the admin only sings one song "buy a legal version". Another suggestion by the users was format your phone! will it work?

Well thanks for all of your replies i formatted the phone using the method (talk key+3+*) and also memory card and worked like a charm.

A friend of mine got this same problem, the solution are:
1. Reset your Nokia 6600 to factory setting. Just type *#7370#. But frist, backup all you data to Memory Card coz after doing this all you phone number and message will be deleted.
2. Reinstall higher version of Smartmovie like 3.11 and above..
Hopely this solution will solve your problem too.

i installed smart movie player but its not working
it shows the logo in my mobile screen
but when i click on the icon a black screen appears and then the normal menu
then i formatted my phone
even then the problem exists.
m using n 73
i installed smar movie s60 3rd edition
