I just bought a new Razr and now when I turn the phone on, immediately it starts to record a voice name...the phone freezes up, and all I can do is exit out of the voice recording. When I try to get in the menu to delete everything, it freezes. Is there any way I can turn the voice recording feature OFF?? I think it has something to do with the key on the right hand side of the phone...any suggestions?????
Thanks!

Sounds like the key is stuck in. If you have warranty then use it. Otherwise you will need to disassemble and check it out

No warranty.... I just bought it off of ebay, so I'm a little wary...I hope that's all it is, I know that the Razr is sensitive to touch, so hopefully its just stuck!! Thanks for your help! Is there no way for me to turn the voice option completely off???

You can remap the key with p2kmenueditor but it will still take whatever function you set. You could try setting it to n/a but to be honest I have no idea whether or not that would work.

Have you done any mods at all?
You can try removing the battery for a few minutes.
If you flashed the phone before this happens you may want to try flashing with the keypad fix flex.

el3men2dr, i have a v6 with the same problem, it solved itself by me booting from flash, make sure you press the red power button + '*' + '#' at the same time and it will boot to flash. then just power it off and on again normally and it should be fine. dont ask me why, it just works
