I dont doubt your knowledge of company policy one bit..just stating the obvious... your terms and conditions allow for local laws... IE if there is a consumer "cooling off period" law for that state or county.... TMob says it will comply in its TOS......
being a customer care rep myself for quite sometime and haveing read several notations from the legal deprtment on accounts I have come across this more than a couple of times
we also need to keep in mind that customer Care policys and laws may be different for Business Care and customers. and i am sorry if i seem rude.

Woah, does every one hate T-Mobile ? I work there and i even hate it. Not only do they screw the customers over, they royally screw us employees.

I'd much rather pay the $200-300 for a phone up front and have better and less expensive service than have t-mo subsidise the handset cost with etf and higher rates. That is how t-mo in europe works. My 6230i cost $230 new unlocked unbranded and was much more phone than anything t-mo had to offer at the time.

bcagle3 you work as a sales rep. . . . . not for tmob, right? you know some people can sell and others can't, it is a "gift". i was hijacked into my tmob call center job. was happily doing data entry when they bought the center and i was forced to talk to rude people on the phone about things i have no control over. i think that's what most people who call in don't get, we have no control over the policies we just have to abide by them and a good portion of the time i don't agree with them. that's how all of these big companies have things set up. i work for tmob and have vzw as my provider and truthfully i don't see a difference in the way either does business.

Well,
I am a current T-mobile customer and I don't have enough hate for them to illogically switch to another company, but I definitely regret ever signing up with them. I could explain all of the details about why I regret it, but I am not one for bitching and whining. Essentially, it is because my experience has been that they systematically con, bait & switch and mistreat me. I believe the people that work there are great people but the system is what sets them up to con, bait & switch and mistreat me. So, if you are choosing between T-mobile and another provider, know that I deeply regret signing a contract with them and will be making a more informed choice when my contract is up.
Here is a little about me: My name is Greg Bishop and I live in Utah. I am one for honest, objective feedback. After my most recent dissapointment with T-mobile, I considered switching providers but I did a little comparison in my head first: the cost (in time and money) to switch cell phone providers versus the cost of sharing my opinion of T-mobile to those choosing between T-mobile and other cell phone providers. I believe the second has a greater intended effect.
Obviously, I decided to keep my service and share my opinion with others. I would hope that others would share their opinions and their biases to ensure others have a chance at an objective point of view.
