I used P2K Tools to adjust the volume settings on my V3, but the actual bluetooth volume didn't change. It's still way too low. I verified the settings using motokit to make sure they took. Anyone know why it's not loud enough???? Thanks in advance. JW

The gain_table.bin doesn't effect bluetooth volume, its a remote item..the bluetooth volume shouldn't be that quiet, depending on how loud you want it to be. If you maxed the volume on the headset and its still not loud enough then maybe its the headset itself.

There are tons of threads with people complaining that bluetooth volume isn't loud enough. It needs to be jacked up in the phone. I just dont think the two apps I used work.

The bluetooth is a different offset in the gain_table
Take a look at http://www.xlr8.us/hofo/map.txt

The volume on my Razr is terrible. I can hardly hear it unless I'm in a closet! Please tell me more about what you are referring to here. What is P2K and gain whatever? Thanks!

Wow! I looked that that file and it certainly is detailed. It's a bit intimidating, though. Would you please provide a little guidance on boosting the Bluetooth mike gain? I have successfully installed Motokit 1.06 and can connect to the phone. This is the only mod I am interested in doing.
Thanks!
Doug
