i've actually seen it happen a few times. but then again i work after hours care so we get all the weirdos and since there is under 50 people in this call center that work after hours, the word gets out quicker leading to the cust being fired

One MAJOR company ( won't mention the name) will not allow a CSR to disconnect the call no matter what, the customer can call you every name, say whatever they want and you are not allowed to disconnect the call! I know T-Mobile allows their employees to after advising the customer..

I love it when customers theink they know our jobs better then we do. I had a cust swear up and down beacuse they can get to the aol mail sign in page and put there sign in info and it starts to sing in but takes them back to the sign in page that it's cingular fault not a problem with the aol site

i'll usually double click the mute button which sounds like i hung up. customer's/prank callers usually hang on for a sec, then hang up, thinking no one's there.

Yep, I have friends (fellow co-workers) who do the transfer around !! It is funny, I just would feel bad for the next person that gets them....
I had this lady just continually yelling, screaming cause she sd couldn't get her voice mails and they were very IMPORTANT!! Course she was on her cell ph, and every, every time I tried to talk , get some info to help she kept screaming like I was the idiot.. Finally I had enough, I called her cell number, conferenced her to it and hit transfer....
