so i had a customer today call me a dip S#$% b4 she hung up on me, all becuase her phone was out of warnety and she didnt want to have to pay for a new charger, i explained that she could call motorola to see what can be done. She got mad and said she would go to the store to bitch at them, the called me a Dip S^!%.
she is so lucky im not a spiteful person because her vm would have been in spanish so fast she would have gotten whiplash..
why is it people constatly insist on being rude to/screwing with people who have so much control over them , like people who handle ther accounts or there food. thats one thing i have never done is yelled at the person who handeled my food because i know it will get spit in , i know ive done it to other people, but thats a nother story for another time

i know what you mean. it's like people who have to pay a final bill "but my accounts cancelled, what's this bill from"
the worst guy i had kept asking if i heard him and if i was retarded. he was swearing and everything...because he couldn't give me the password on the account. he ended up hanging up furiously.

What I dont get is when customers boldly admit to roaming or making that international call and yet they still want us to throw them out some charity. Then if u decline that request, they get all furious and then start blaming this high bill on CSR's and how sh**tty our company is, how and why is that?

Most providers, if not all, have a little clause in their contract stating if you are excessively abusive towards a representative, your service can be cancelled. Not suspended. Not temporarily shut down. PERMANENTLY DISCONNECTED and if under contract, still held to ETF.
I've pulled that one out on a customer or two...interesting what response I get hehehehehehehehe.

Jessie- I love it! Seriously, that clause is awesome! I mean nothing like cutting someone off like that could be more satisfying! I get hollered at daily like you as a CSR only I work for a corporate office and deal with a different crowd... the ones who don't want to deal with CS anymore. So when I find out their serivce is getting cancelled cuz they harrassed me or a CSR, best feeling ever! =)

lets not let the power get to our heads...
in 6 years I personally have only seen 4 accounts that were cancelled for that.... the documentation for that kind of cancellation is meticulous...it has to pass legal scrutiny...as well as have the blessing of a couple of VP's...I personally would not bring that into the conversation...the customer might find that a little "combative"

Lemme Clarify (tm) that: I have pulled the cancellation clause 3 or 4 times when it came down to a customer personally insulting ME.
