I was wondering, since I am deciding on a new phone right now, if there was a major difference if my phone didnt support GSM850 for Cingular, I mostly just stay in So. Cal and go to Las Vegas but not really anywhere but that. Thanks in advance.

cingular mainly operates on 850, so it's safest o get a phone that has it, if you don't you may miss out on reception in some areas.

well, it does have WDMA 1900, so it seems like it could be a possibility.

I have read that when the N80 was first shipped to Cingular as a possible handset, it was sent back due to the lack of WCDMA on the 850 band
