I am trying to unlock a V557...
And the smart clip is not working to unlock this kind of phone...
I have the computer cable, the "smart clip" machine and all softwares from motorola...
Phone information:
Boost loader: 08.B0.
SW Version: R4512_G_08.28.3DR_A2
Any sugestion???

You have to do test point to unlock this model and it's a tiny tiny point, need a very steady hand

How does the test point tiny tiny works????
Is there any way to kill the phone if u do that wrongly???

yes, or atleasr damage it. you have smart clip so go to boot-loader.com and down loade the test point picture and read in smart-clip.com for instruction how to unlock it.
I just done 4 of them as we speak

I found the instructions and I opened the phone to see the test point pin and the put a cover in the place i should see the pin...
Weel Im not gonna open that...
Is there a way to do that whithout open the phone???

U CAN GO TO GOOGLE AND SEARCH FOR SMART CLIP...
U GONNA FIND A LOT OF PLACES TO BUY IT...
