My v3i doen't have a gateway ip address field in web sessions. I am trying to get my mmode working from cingular.

I have tried all of the settings from the cingular's knowledge base, however my v3i does not have a gateway ip address location??? It has a domain option, dns option, but no gateway option? When i try and connect to the web, i get a "no data error" message. I am noticing when phone is trying to connect to web, there are bytes being transferred??? Does that mean anything?

When i called motorola, they told me to call cingular. Cingular told me they can't help me because the v3i is not a supported phone by them. Anyone have any suggestions for me?? Thanks.

Also is there a way to download games without internet access on my phone , if i have a a usb data cable and/or using my trans flash memory card via my home computer????

try SEEM 0032_0001

offset 2F - bit 2: Webaccess > Web Sessions > Edit > IP1 (1 on, 0 off)
bit 3: Webaccess > Web Sessions > Edit > IP2 (1 on, 0 off)

I am not that technical, therefore I have no idea what you are suggesting that I do? Can you reply in a more lay mans terms so I know what steps I need to take to do what you are telling me? Where do I find "SEEM 0032_0001? What is that do or mean?
etc, etc? And where do I find "offset 2F - bit 2", etc?

Thank you so much for answering my posting so quickly.

try SEEM 0032_0001

offset 2F - bit 2: Webaccess > Web Sessions > Edit > IP1 (1 on, 0 off)

Take a look at the How To: Seem Edit guide in the tutorials section.

First you will need to get the p2k programs connected - the getting connected section at http://www.themotoguide.com/
is the best place to find how to do that

I have to admit, I tried to look at the sites you recommended to me and the downloads etc, and I must be really stupid, or you are just very smart and technical. I have no idea where to begin based on what you recommended I do? Why does my phone have no GATEWAY IP field? Is that required to connect to mMode? I work as a Cust Service Rep, and have no technical experience when it comes to stuff like this.

Is there anyway you can walk me thru step by step instructions on how to do this? Is there anyone in NJ I could take my phone to, to do this for me? Please Help?
