whenever I try to send a voice recorded memo in a MMS or E-Mail message I get "unsupported media type". I am with Tmobile and use an unlocked Cingular (att blue) V551.
Any help highly appreciated.
This is an awsome site. My thanks to all the very helpful members. I learned a lot.

If you look in the tutorials section there is a method for saving a voice recording as an mp3 - follow the mrthod in that guide for sending a voice record

Thanks for the prompt response.
Prior to posting the above I did follow the method described in tutorials, I am able to send pictures, videos, templates etc.... but when it comes to selecting voice record, I get "unsupported media type". I point out when I go to office tools menu and select voice recording it allows me to record.

What I mean is how are you trying to insert the voice recording into the message - are you following the method here: http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic46055.html

Yes I followed the method for inserting. Here is how it goes.
Message center-->create a message-->new multimedia message-->insert-->voice record-->"unsupported media type"

Really not sure then - you could try a new flex but that seems a bit extreme
