I've tried to free more memory on my v3, following these instructions:

After this part:

I've deleted these 9 files too  After that, I was unable to get to the Ring Style Details menu. After reading duceduc's topic, I did:

Try this quick fix:
Using p2kman, delete mytone.db & temptone .db follow by a master reset on phone.
Default security code= 000000
If that don't work, read on.
****FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH RINGSTYLE MENU***
1. Open PST Phone Programmer (either 6.7 or 6.9) not Multiflexflash.
2. Go to new, then select Feature file.
3. Push the button Read Phone at the top.
4. It will then connect to your phone and read the features and will display a new window with the current features
5.In the new window scroll down, you will see Ring Styles and each menu item will have a box associated with it.
6. In each box select 0 (zero) which is silent for all options and reminders should be set to off.
7. Push the Write to Phone at the top and then restart phone |
Well, PST Phone Programmer helped me, and now I am able to get to the Ring Detail Menu. But when I select a ring style, and someone calls me the phone remains silent. Any1 know what to do?

Yes, I can. It shows me who's ringin etc, it just doesn't ring. Oh, and I can't chose a ringtone for categories in my phone book, when I select a category and try to edit it, it drops me back to the previous menu.

Thanks man, it's all working now, except one thing. I still wasn't able to edit a category setting, so I had to delete the phone book categories and create them again. That helped, but I can't delete the General category, so I'm still not able to chose a ringtone for it, same problem as before - dropping me back to previous menu.
