I am not new to cell phones in general but I am new to cell phones techs. I am not sure what phones will work with Verizon (say I swap my old one in for a new one) whether if its unlocked, not unlocked, or has that type of service (US one, Global one, etc?)...
Well, if you get what im trying to say then post because any info will help

you'll need a verizon CDMA phone.

mostlikey, verizon won't activate it unless it's randed for verizon, so it would need to be CDMA and be a verizon phone.

Correct it can only come from verizon. They will only take phones with there Firmware installed retarding the phones.
IE having the CRAPPY AND ABSOULUTLY HORRID LG Firmware on every phone
