If I cancel the primary portion of my family plan (59.99) which has expired, what happens to the extra line (9.99)?

The extra line has the option of remaining with cingular under the remainder of its contract terms.

If the extra line does not go off on its own plan, and you infact cancel out the extra line, they will charge you the cancellation fee for the extra line (if the extra line was setup after the orginal line, i.e upgraded single plan to a family plan. each number has its own contract terms). Soo best to find out if your extra line is still under contract and decide from there.

Like I said, extra line can continue service under a single plan or it iwll most likely be terminated along with your primary.

The secondary line on the family talk plan if you xcl the the primary number the 9.99 line would be moved to the primary line contract will go with it and the line would charged the 59.99 p;er month as the primary line

its is recominded for billing purposed that you donot have a single line on a family talk , individual plans tend to have more min for the same price anyway , so when you cancle just have it switch over on the next bill cycle

Correct if u cancel the anchor line of the family plan the additional line could still remain on the $9.99 family but will have no minutes to run off of since the anchor line is cancelled, so u will be charged .45 for every minute that u use, so I would recommend that u change that plan to $39.99 plan the lowest that attws has, u may or may not get promotions or just when u cancel the anchor line cancel the additional, explain to CSR that the user of the additional line has died and they may most likely waive the ETF if under contract, just a suggestion.
