I just bought a Motorola RAZR V3c through Verizon Wireless, They have always had great service where I live and I've never had a problem with them, however, I just received my RAZR and the software has been completely changed by Verizon to some corny looking software! The outside screen doesnt show any picture that is on the inside screen, and the menu system is completely different from any other RAZR I have ever seen! I want to get rid of this extremely bad because I hate how this is set up, besides from flashing, does anyone have any idea on how to make it look like a regular RAZR? And if not, how would I go about flashing... please leave detail instructions, this is greatly appreciated!

Its a totally different phone with different hardware. Verizon is CDMA and its a V3c. A normal razr is the V3 and is GSM

It is amazing how different my friends RAZR's look from my RAZR, Software Wise. The menu's that verizon has made for the V3c look cheap and out of date. Is there not anyway I could flash or flex the software so that it would look like a normal razr while being able to keep the functionality of it?

No, the firmware is different on both phones, plus the v3c is missing the middle button.

Is there no possibility that with the new v-cast music razr's coming out soon that a firmware update will be available? I noticed on a few pictures of the V3m that the center button is still missing, and it is advertised with the front display showing a color picture. This leads me to believe that a software upgrade could be imminent for those of us stuck with the current trash that is V3c software.

I think that Verizon knows how crappy their software is, so they delibrately advertise false images of the RAZR V3c to make it look like an ordinary one. I know how it is, the RAZR V3c is CRAP! I hate the software and are in dire need of a flash/flex!

Well you'd need a flash/flex designed for the V3c because of the physical differences to the phone, and Verizion would have to release that, and I doubt that will happen to be honest.
