Fails to log into Mxit and says my gprs settings are wrong but i can still log onto internet?

I don't know what mxit is but maybe you might be able to get a program like opera mini or a web browser for your phone to use the pages you are on might not be compatable with the web server.(like not a WAP page)

This is most definitely not true. If you have internet access from your phone, you can use MXit. Some international (from my perspective, non-South African) service providers do block certain ports and allow usage of certain services only for certain contract types.

If you're having trouble setting up MXit, please visit www.mxit.co.za or forum.mxit.co.za -- there's plenty of information.

It was true at the date I wrote it. Or at least there were no informations that it does work internationally.

In between MixIt is alot more open to non-South African providers. And the forums provide informations regarding this topic.

Actually mxit works worldwide, as long as you have gprs

The only difference is that when you chat internationally you won't receive offline messages
