Well...it looks like the sidekick 2 is capable of MMS (multimedia messaging) which includes picture messages, sound messages, etc.
I came across this while looking at my owners manual online. Notice how it says at the top: Note: This application is not available in all product configurations. Product configurations vary by wireless operator.
So you know what that means??? T-mobile decided not to give that feature to it's sidekick users even though the device does have the capability. Check out the section on MMS in the owners manual. I am so mad!!! Everyone should complain to T-mobile about this until they change it!

No use in complaining. A lot of ppl have tried that before and tmobile hasn't done anything. If you really need to picture message you can use email.

I could tell you to contact a certain product manager at t-mobile in the Factoria, WA HQ. But they would just bump up the Sidekick service up form $20 to $30 bucks.

What are you guys complaining about we get unlimited text and email. You can email any cell a picture example: 9511234567@tmomail.net and I know sprint, verizon, etc have similar address. So quit complaining.

Uh, I PAY for that service. How are you going to tell me to stop complaining about something I pay for. Additionally I'm not really pissed about outgoing MMS, I'm annoyed about incoming MMS. People send me pictures all the time wondering WTF I didn't get it.

If you cannot use MMS are you really paying for it? think. T-Mobile did it for a reason now live with it.

No, I'm talking about my unlimited text and email. He's telling me I cannot complain about MMS when I'm getting unlimited text and email. Well I PAY FOR UNLIMITED TEXT AND EMAIL. It's not like it's some free service they are giving me.

The point is your getting a great deal on unlimited text and email and web. If people have a problem sending you mms and you can't receive them try telling them to email them to you or try setting up your online tmobile album and you can check them there.
