I recently got a clear cnap on case for my L7 and I thought it would work out...but it turned out to be pretty crummy. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with any clear plastic/rubber/silicon cases? I'm really just looking for something to protect the screen and black finish. I don't care if the keys are covered or not. I'd prefer to avoid leather, and the belt clips since I keep my phone in my pocket.
Thanks.

Yeah, use one of those covers and put a screen protector...I like Clarivue a lot, very durable. You can check it out at their website.

I use a Shield Zone screen protector and a silicone skin to protect the body.
Only two issues I see:
-The skin attracts and "holds" dust quite easily. I recommend removing it once in a while to brush off some of the dust that's collected.
-I sometimes can't see the letters on the keys if the backlight isn't on. You could probably hack the phone with p2k to be non-light sensitive...but I've just gotten used to it/memorized the letters on the keys.
Otherwise, the skin provides excellent scratch protection, and a minor degree of impact protection. Also, the phone is grippier and less likely to slip out of my hands.
