I just bought an unlocked ROKR from Tiger Direct. It works fine on my T-Mobile account, but has startup animation from NRJ Mobile, which apparently is a French carrier. No big deal, but I'm curious to know if there's a way to delete that animation. Thanks.

Thanks Mikekay. I found the motokit file, but can't figure out how to install it on my ROKR. Can you help a newbie out, please. Thanks.

You don't install it on the phone. Its a windows app which communicates with the phone via USB and the p2k drivers

I have wanted to modify my phone as it has vodafones logo all over it. Iv been catious though because Im having trouble with my phone and because of that I dont want to void the warranty in any way. Does anyone know if a modified phone is still covered?

A modified phone is NOT covered under warranty. You can pretty much ASSume that bit of info to pertain to most anything you buy. Modify it, lose the warranty.

I by "all over it" you mean things like the wallpaper, and other pics...downloading and changing those should NOT affect warranty at all.
You can create and load your own wallpapers to the phone. All that's required is they meet the format requirements. Same thing for callID pics and such as far as I know. I just got a V360 and have already loaded new wallpaper images.

Thats fine, I have my own wallpapers and such.
But the start up screen and the image on the small outside screen when he phone is flipped open and the animation that shows when I turn my phone off and certain parts about the functionality of the phone for example the browser, all of these listed have either vodafone's logo or vodacom's logo which I would really like to get rid of.
