ok i am fairly new to the whole bluetooth thing but i do get the concept. i have a razr, and my problem is that it seems like when my friends use their phones to find my phone, it works, but for some reason when i go to connection->bluetooth->handsfree->look for new devices, it doesnt find anyone even if my friends bluetooth is on and their phone is set to visible, can someone help me?

That way is only for headsets.

Browse to the file you want to set hit menu key then copy and search for devices that way

Well under the bluetooth link menu there is a search for devices option - however this is for headsets/handsfree only.

The bluetooth on the razr does not support browsing etc - only file transfer. To send a file i.e. a picture or ringtone or contact you need to browse to the file or contact then press the menu button. If it is a file go to copy for a contact to send, if you are asked if you want to temporarily power on bluetooth choose yes, then you should get a search for devices option - this is how you detect other phones.

The bluetooth light should be on when it is in use - unless you have a modified funlight.pat file with this disabled

Are there any known hacks that I could do to improve the functionality of my Bluetooth? Even better, is there a list of all hacks available for the V3?

Be wary - many of these are not compatible with the V3. If you do an edit and it has no effect restore your backup - unknown combinations of edits may have unforeseen consequences
