Hold the voice record button while speaking. It will beep every so often to warn the other person recording is in progress.

Not AFAIK - they did this because of US laws, but there is no known way to turn it off where those laws do not apply

You could use a bluetooth connection to a PC, enable the hands-free gateway (effectively making your PC a speakerphone) and then record it using any number of sound recording programs.
The benefit of directly using your PC is that you can more easily edit the conversation for blackmail purposes.

Are there other phones that can record conversations?

Sorry too bump an old thread, but I googled this topic and just wanted to find some closure on a question.
I have the Motorola Razr V3c (CDMA version) on the Aliant Network (Owned by Bell, basically). Anyway, my phone makes the beep while recording the phone conversations. However, it only records the voice of the person I'm speaking with and not my voice at all. Does anyone else have this issue? Is my phone flawed or is this just how they operate?
Thanks.

I think so.
As for other phones, the e6 can record.

Is there a way to transfer voice mail messages I receive to my PC for later review or to be able to file?

Hi - I found this thread on google - can anyone please help? I tried to access the voice notes while on the phone (Razr v3), but I can't get to the main menu. Can anyone tell me how to access the main menu while on a call so I can record the call? I've tried accessing voice notes to record before making the call and during the call and it still won't record the call. I would greatly appreciate any guidance with this. Thanks for the great tips btw!
