I want to delete the pictures that came on the phone but mainly figure out how to get new themes. I've been browsing this forum for hours with no luck. Can you give me some tips on how to search? Like I type in themes and get a million non-relevant things.

You want skins - not themes - try using p2kcommander. Create a folder in the a/mobile/skins folder - the same name as the skin (case sensitive) and copy all the files into it. Then restart the phone

Just wondering, does anyone out there have a backup of the entire L6 Directory Structure? I had my fun modifying the L6 but now I wanna start over, using the existing tree

I would like to know whether they provide data cable & CD when we buy Motorola SLVR L6. Please let me know. If not what will be the price if we buy separately..

It will depend on provider - if you are in Europe you will have more chance than if you are in the US.
If not the official software and cable can be purchased at www.bvrp.com
But you can get a cable from almost anywhere - its the same as a PSP and many digital cameras.
There are software alternatives too, www.mobiledit.com is one or you can use the p2k programs for free - but with a steeper learning curve

hey guys
I've tried the installing skin thing
no luck i even tried using p2k commander but when I look on my L6 there's no skins folder
i tried creating the folder but no luck getting generic error or write fail dont' knwo why
so any other ideas
i've enen tried installing the skin using skiman and p2kcommaner
i've tried all i know but no luck
can't the l6 nwork?

You guys were talking about having a backup of the original alerts and tones files that came on your phone? Are those available anywhere? I'm looking for wav or midi files of the original pre-loaded ringtones and alerts from various phones for a project I'm working on. There is all sorts of new stuff out there I realize, but it's the pre-loaded, mnaufacturer/carrier-made stuff I'm interested in. Thanks.

There are backups for the v3 available - most other models are more difficult to obtain
