My second phone broke, but lucky for me I still had my old one. I was wondering if there was any way that I could put my number and all that good stuff back onto my old phone? My provider is verizon and the broken phone is a samsung and the old phone is an LG if that helps at all... thanks for any help...

Post this in the verizon forum too. I don't know how verizon phones work but some phones have subsciber cards in them commonly called sim card(smartchips) you just switch the smarchip/sim card other than that you gotta call customer service and give them the numbers under the battery.

with verizon, you'll need to call them to activate the new (old) phone on your account. the number will switch, but anything saved on the phone memory will not.

it's probably called the ESN number it's on the phone under the battery compartment of the phone. so have the phone you are switching to the other phone that is broke if you have that phone available and probably your account information with verizon. (your account number possibly)

call them from a land line phone have the phone you want to activate in hand...the rep will walk you thru the process... you will have to verify the account ...if the account is in your name you will be asked some standard questions... if the account is in someone elses name you would probabaly want to have the account holder there with you
