Hi
I want to uninstall the three games that come installed with Nokia 3230. Is there any way I can do it? I checked out with the local Nokia care centre, and they weren't of much help.

Normally you should be able to uninsall them with the manager

Menu->Tools->Manager

Otherwise you need a filemanager like FExplorer which allows you to browse the phones memory where you can delete the folder of the games manually.

thanks so much for the quick reply, however when I go to manager, it has no data. the three games are agent V, rally pro and warrior. they had come loaded when I purchased the cell phone. I have even formatted both memory card and reset my phone by using *#7370#. No help.
Can you give some info on what a FExplorer is and where I shall find it?

I really appreciate all the help. But pls help me.... maybe I sound lame, but after 1 hour of surfing on the link I couldn't even understand what FExplorer is. Can anyone put it in simpler words?
I am not a techno person and just wish to remove the games from my cell as my small bro keeps playing, and this is really affecting his studies.

It's ok I had no idea what fexplorer was either untill i got it on my phone. it's a file manager program not unlike windows file manager but for phones. It has all kinds of stuff in the program I don't know how ot use but you can see the directories on your phone from the phone. manipulate/move files around on the phone. all kinds of stuff. One warning I think the program has warning it it does allow you to delete everything on your phone even stuff that you are not supposed to so don't go erasing stuff if you don't know what it is etc. It doesn't have the "safeties" that don't let you do things. but you should find comprehensive instructions on some forums or possibly even with the files that tell you how exactly to delete a game etc from your phone model.

It's strange. Games ain't a part of the OS and formatting the phone (or memory - depends on its location) should get rid of them.

hi
thank you so much for the replies... but I have tried uninstalling using both FExplorer and even nokia PC suite... I think they are meant for the softwares and games that are installed by the user himself. And even formatting the phone and card will remove the softwares that are not a part of the factory installed system.
The problem in my case is that nowhere do these three games appear, neither in the phone manager, nor on the pc suite. So I am unable to delete them. Any nokia 3230 users here must be able to confirm what I am saying!

(on my nokia 3300) and it doesn't have support for like fexplorer or nokia suite so I just left them on there.. maybe try another way if you need more memory for you phone??
