but anyways,
being a cingular customer, i just purchased an unlocked sidekick...i've read about a lot of the usage problems and i was wondering...
will we be able to use the webbrowser or ANY of the other functions beside SMS and calls? ANYTHING?
is there anyway to get these usable?

even tho the device is an unlocked phone t-mobile tends to lock out the internet settings where they can only be used on the t-mobile network. THere is a chance to get it to work on the cingular network i have not work with this phone before not sure where to tell you to look at the wap settings on the device.

IP address: 66.209.11.61
APN: Enter the appropriate value for the APN.
User ID: Enter the appropriate value for the username.
Password: Enter the appropriate value for the password.

consult your userguide..... look for network or data settings...the setting the cptech posted have to be applied... I cant get to the link for the guide from here ( I'm at work behind a firewall) but I've pasted it below...look up the menu item for the data or network settings

what these setting will do. these settings will allow you device to get onto medianet to access the internet from your device sence this is not a supproted device by cingular and we do not have access to the device setting follow the link elmo posted to enter these settings into your phone data setting to get online
