Hello, I have a question regarding bluetooth transfer for L6. I connect the phone's bluetooth with my computer's bluetooth and use wireless transfer to transfer a jar file to my phone. but everytime i try to transfer afile, it say the file transfer "transfer of file failed."

edit: I try sending a image instead of jar file and it works. So is there something blocking my phone from receiving jar file?

@ hurley

You need both .jad and .jar files to use Midway.

Also the .jad file must be pointing correctly to the .jar file. The simplest way to ensure this is correct is to use jadmaker to create .jad files from your .jar files

There is no way to create .jar files from .jad files

Rooster Dude posted this elsewhere:

Please note: This guide definitely works with the Moto triplets (V5xx and V6xx) but I am not sure about other Bluetooth enabled mobiles though I would guess that the process is near identical.

Firstly, you’ll need to buy a USB Bluetooth dongle if your desktop or laptop isn’t Bluetooth ready.
I own a Belkin F8T001ef which uses class 1 Bluetooth (100m range) but is compatible with class 2 and class 3 devices.
I would thoroughly recommend this product as I have had noting but good experiences with it. It is also reasonably priced, I bought mine for just £20 (cheaper than a lot of lesser class 2 dongles) and it looks pretty slick too!

Right then, once you’ve installed the dongle and the software that comes with the dongle (My Bluetooth Places or something similar) you’ll need to run it. You’ll then be asked to configure a few things.
When you’ve done this, put your phone into ‘Find me’ mode and in the ‘My Bluetooth places’ window, select ‘View devices in range’ and the computer should detect your phone and you’ll see a screen that looks like this:

Device Detection

Double-click on your phone, wait a bit and your screen should now look like this:

Discover Services

To send games to your phone:

Once you’ve download a game, if it’s a .zip file you’ll need to extract it (don’t forget to do this!) You should now have both a .jar and a .jad file. You only need the substantially larger .jar file when uploading via Bluetooth. So all you need to do is drag and drop the .jar file into OBEX Object Push.
The computer may now ask you for a PIN code. Enter a numerical code and remember it, then when your phone asks for a PIN, enter the same code. You have now successfully paired the devices.
Your phone will now ask if you want to accept the file, press ‘Accept’ and then once it’s transferred select ‘Install’. Once that done you will see your game in the Games section of My Items and away you go!

To send wallpapers/images/audio/video to your phone:

On the screen that shows you what services the computer can offer your phone, double-click on OBEX File Transfer.
The computer may now ask you for a PIN code. Enter a numerical code and remember it, then when your phone asks for a PIN, enter the same code. You have now successfully paired the devices.
You should now see 2 folders, an Image and an Audio folder (if you own a V600, I believe there should also be a Video folder)
Now drag and drop the correct file in to the correct folder (e.g. .jpeg and .gif’s in images and .3gp files in video) and Hey Presto!
