Hmm, anyone know how to stop my T610 trying to set up passwords?
If I try and connect to someone my phone makes me enter a password, then the person on the other phone has to enter the same code. People in my office with the same phone don't need to do this. I think it may have been set up on my phone when I installed the Bluetooth dongle and software on my PC, now I can't find the setting t o turn it off. Anyone got any ideas?

your answer... you are trying to pair two devices- correct me if i'm wrong, but you're going into your bluetooth menu, then my devices. all you need to do is select the vCard you want to send in your phone book and choose send via BT.[/url]

anyone heard about it?? |
I REALLY want to get started in this. Do I need to be subscribed to a phone service to get this to work? If not,I was thinking of just buying a phone off from Ebay with Bluetooth. Would someone please help me get started in this? Sounds really childish..just the thing for me
Any replies would be appreciated glohstrNOSPAM@altelco.net

Bluejacking is usually pretty hit-or-miss with me when I'm sitting in a Starbucks trying to nail a 3650. What ALWAYS works though is when I Bluejack a PDA! The look of shock is priceless, especially since PDA users don't usually expect any sort of messaging to appear on their units, unlike on mobile phones.

Yup, bluejacking is good fun and the best bit is... it's perfectly legal!
I knew something would go wrong. As things get more complex they always go wrong. Take computers and viruses as an example.
But this is completely harmless. The other person may get a shock but anyone with any sense would simply turn bluetooth off.

I know this is the wrong section but how does that work on a Nokia 6230?
