help help help
my blinkin' phone (6680) displayed a 'no memory' message and would not respond to any button hitting, pressing, walloping with a sledge hammer,
so i took out the battery, and now it won't switch back on.
i put it on charge - and the battery indicator is showing and it made the 'beep' noise, but still wont turn on
any hints / tips / ideas?
i tried the green and the star and the 3 - and got light, but no 'phone'

Does your phone have removable memory?? like an mmc card in it. sorry didn't look up the spec's of that phone. you can try putting another mmc card in it if that is it. Other than that it's possible your phone might need servicing by a nokia care center. But wait a bit someone here definatly knows more than me.

I had the same problem with my 6680. All you needed to do it take out the memory card and then switch on. It takes a few flashes then turns on normally and you insert the card. For some reason it won't start with the memory card inserted. Could be a conflict with some applications/files on it..

I hope you weren't serious about hitting it with a sledge hammer. If the memory card trick, or the master reset didn't work, bring it in to a Nokia care center.

mmc problem not the phone problem. try it with other mmc card. if that did'nt work send it 2 the "nokia service center". Also format it with some card reader on pc.
