Oh dear god, do not go to verizon. There is no measurement to the extent that verizon cripples their phones, most especially the RAZR (any version). You can look forward to hideous skins, bad ringtones, no USB or Bluetooth file transfer, no skin modding, and don't even think about removing the included garbage or adding your own.
Stay away from verizon. If you want a good razr that's fully functional and ready for the taking, try T-Mobile. Cingular can do it too, but T-Mobile's a bit cheaper.
Don't be fooled by verizon's low price, you're buying hardly half of a phone.

Very true, the GSM phones such as Cingular or T-Mo are much more flexible than Verizons CDMA but, if you got your head on strait, nothings impossible. I've seen it done and done some myself, you can hack any phone to any extent given the right set of tools, granted its more work.
