Just wondering if there are any particular phones that work best with Cingular? I have a Sony Ericsson T637 and my husband has a Nokia (not sure exactly which model, 6120 I think?) Anyway his phone get a much better signal than mine so I was thinking maybe I should get Nokia when I upgrade. Anyone with similar experiences? Thanks.

it may be the sim card that is giving the better reception which you will get when you upgrade also. nokia are generally regarded as good phones for reception, the razr has also had great reviews.

thanks for the reply. We both got our phones at the same time though so wouldn't the sim cards be about the same? I'm not really familiar with a lot of cell phone info.

well, it's hard to say about the sim. the easiest way to see if the sim does affect reception is to swap sims between the phones and see if the signal fluctuates. that way you'll know if poor reception is a result of the phone itself or the sim.
