Hi everyone. I recently installed mobile phonetools and followed a guide to get my V635 working through the usb cable, as i was having stupid problems. I got it working, it was sweet as. I closed the program, now it never works. I cant get it to transfer anything at all anymore. This also happend to my sister, who had a V635. I am using Mobile Phonetools 4. Any help aprecciated.

I have the same set up and phone as you, and yet I don't have a problem....are you doing it on the same computer or two different ones? If it's the 1st one then try on another computer.

When my sister had hers she was using a laptop, my v635 im trying on my pc. Its weird, its like it recognises it at first .. lets me go into the multimedia studio ..but from then on .. nothing :S. Im not sure what it is. I'll have to try it on another pc.

Hmm...that's very confusing.
Are there any programs you have installed on BOTH the laptop and your PC that could be conflicting with MPT or te phone in any way?

I doubght it. She keeps her laptop very clean and stock. I dont have any other programs on here that i can emadgine would conflict.
*Edit* Also, When she did it she was using a different version of moblie phonetools, i have tried both versions. Still no good.

Yes ... exact same version.
**edit** is there any settings on the phone i could look at? This is really irritating me .. im trying everything. Its like it works at first ... initaially whne i start MPT ..but when i click multimedia studio ..it loses it .

Have you done any sort of modification to the phone? If you have then you could have deleted a system file or something like that, if that is the case then you will need to reflash your phone.
Oh, and if you go to Settings, Connections and USB Settings, you need to make sure its set to Data/Fax Connection.

Yep, it is on data fax connection. Ive never modified it in any way. Maybe i should just flash it anyway? But i have no clue about that.

Right, well in the Firmware and Flashing Section, there is an How to flash Vxxx phones, this is relevant, BUT you can NOT use the Triplets firmware, although the process is the same. You will need R474 firmware.
Also, what firmware is your v635 at the moment. It will be under Phone Status, Other Info.
