i just got my lg 8300 and would like to insert my memory card. but when i go to do so, it feels like i'd have to force it just to get it in. is it supposed to do that? ... how do you get the card in.
-seems like a dumb question, but i have no idea. i lined up the arrows, so i assume i have it facing the right direction..

open up the micro disc cover
flip the memory card so that the side with all of the writing on it and the tiny whitish arrow are facing down and stick it in. should go in fairly easy.

How much memory did you purchase? And does that increase the text messages you can have, or is it just for pictures and music?

I just purchased a microSD/Transflash Adapter from SanDisk for my daughter's LG8300. The sales associate told me it would work on her phone. But, when I got it home, the card was much too wide for the port on the phone. any ideas?
