I have been a customer with them for 6 years now.

I grew tired of there games. There IN isnt that IN. I after many times calling people with verizon. THey charged me for those calls and refuse to remove them.

Since its impossible to get a phone that works with verizon from another source since they mess so much with the firmware. So thats 5 bucks a month.
Their manditory activation even if your just upgrading which is 3 bucks a month
their over priced Text messages Which i get charged for even when its SPAM. 5 bucks a month

taxes and federal surchages ad up to 10 bucks a month.

My plan is the older one 49.95 for 500 min.

unlimted nights and week ends and IN calling which isnt in

All together i pay them
about 70 a month. Total time i use is about 300 min.
costs me 23 cents per min.

Their customer service is horrible with most of the people barly able to speak english

Their cheapest plan which they refuse to list publically is 35 a month for 300 min. Which would be perfect but since they use a customized CDMA "which is faster then GSM and better in may ways" I need the insurence $5 per month
the activation fee $3 per month
Fed taxes and surcharges for aplan that size about 7 bucks a month
Since my phone has been getting SPAM for years i dont know how. i need the text plan. which is 5 bucks a month.
so now the plan is 55 per month
again i use about 300 min per month so thats 18 cents per min.

I decided to switch to T-mobile TO go.

new GSM phone with Sim card 30 bucks.
100$ phone card=1150 min after the first one i buy for $100 with 1000 min they give me 15% more min
that adds up to 8.7 cents per min.
WITH ALL TAXES included
It basically costs me $25 dollars a Month with ALL TAXES included.

But since i am keeping my old number what about the SPAM i get?
Free incomming text messages

Plus i dont need insurence why? a replacement GSM phone if you get a Cheap one is under 10 bucks for the one they gave me the nokia 6010.

But what if i want a nice Phone? you ask.

Well lets see this if i break the phone after 18 months. Which is the average life of a phone for me.
$5 a month times 18 is $90 i paid for the insurence. But remember theres a 50 dollar deductable
so thats $140 dollars. actual cost of getting the phone insurence. thats needed for verizone because there phones are so modded.

But with Tmobile any quad band GSM phone works.

I managered to score a Motorola L6 RAZR for $120 bucks Brand new.

I think i made the right choice i went through all other plans.

Net10 sucks from the firmware to how they force you getting 30 dollars cards every month

Verizon impulse sucks. 30 bucks a month for the right to have the phone plus 10 cents a min.

Cingular same BS 30 bucks a month for the right to have the phone.+ 10 cents a min

Virgin you need to be in a monthly plan if you want to pay less then 18 cents per min so you get all the taxes.

Track phone yeah you can get great rates if your constantly getting other people to sign up its like a pyramid scam.

Booste mobile same BS as the others a dollar day.

Cons. Tmobile doesnt have the best coverage. But it works everywhere i go. Hell it even works at my summer house in the middle of no where.

Its GSM which sucks for G3 but i dont care about watching movies on my phone.

what do you all think?

Seems like when you signed up with the older plan, they didn't have IN yet...so...you're at fault. You apparently didn't even sign up for it. Also, all the phones have the same exact menu, firmware is the same. TXT messaging is free to send to other IN customers if you have the 5 or 10 or w/e dollar TXT message bundle plan. I have Verizon and will definetely not go to Cingular again, I hate them! T-Mobile coverage stinks, Nextel stinks with their moto phones which I will never buy, and Sprint is for business mainly, so I don't like them to much for personal needs. Verizon! Verizon! Verizon!

I have T-Mobile and they have really great customer service and never had any billing issues like that.

BUT I can't stand their faulty coverage in California, so I'm switching to Verizon. Maybe Verizon has more dropped calls, but at least I'll actually be able to MAKE calls in the first place from inside buildings and call 911 when I need to.

I think u made a bad choice.
T-Mobile to go is THE WORSE prepay card. U have to refill it a lot its crazy!

u wrong when u talkin about CINGULAR GO PHONE. They have 2 kinds of prepay.
PAY AS YOU GO: Wich I think sucks like you say (the dollar day)
and PICK YOUR PLAN: 49.99 you get 400 minutes + nights and weekend (starting at night). taxes are about $4. text message 10cents

but for now I think the best is Virgin Mobile (Sprint carreer):
its 44.99 for 400 minutes + unlimites nights weekend (starting at 7pm)
http://www.virginmobileusa.com/rates/month.do. text message 5cents
tax are only bout $3 so u pay like $47.

now I have ATT GoPhone (49.99 for 500 minutes) but they will shit down in a month so I have no choice but changing). so ill take virgin i think
