dude if you are on a prepay program you are getting ripped off, all prepay phones are way more expensive then most contract phones. First thing you should do is sign up for a plan, 40 bucks a month for a phone ~vs~ 50 bucks for 100 less minutes... i used to have ezpay and it was so damn expensive!! Second thing you should do is buy the music kit, it is only 20 bucks and then you don't have to deal with anything, just plug it in and sync it to you computer... as long as you have windows XP.

If someone's on a prepay plan it's almost certainly not by choice, but because they have no credit or bad credit, or even good credit but no credit cards. Nobody pays two or three times as much for a prepay plan if they didn't have to.

actually yes i am on pre-paid not by choice. But verison has the best pre-paid program ever....i pay about 50 a month and get free nights and weekends and about 400 off peak mins. I have never run outta mins. so its really not all that bad. expecially since im not big on using it when im home, or big on using it at all. But this ringer is killing me it like instant headache in a box whenever it rings. i have tried almost every stock ringer, and cannot find one that annoys the @#$% outta me.
I have read almost all the post regarding this topic but cannot find one that is the same as my case (pre-paid)....please can someone help me out?

That's not prepay...that's a plan, the same one I'm on.
Justin, this is what I do:
I hold in the button on the left-hand side of the phone...the voice recognition button. It turns into a voice recorder. Then I record whatever sound i want in real life or on the internet. I save the sound and rename it then send it to my own number. When it comes back, I select in options "save as ringtone" and VIOLA! I have a new ringtone. Just set a number or all numbers to the ringtone and you have it set up. It took longer to read this than to actually do it.
Hope this helps.

Try this....1st of all , do u have text messaging, if so... press ok and hit 000000. See if u go into another screen. If yes look for mp3 enable.
Now u need bitpim for ur phone. if u have music on ur computer login into ur bitpim... go into ur "my music" pick a song, clip it and put it in the ringers box and sync ur phone to computer using a usb cable. when the phone sync's u should be able to go into ur ringtones and see the song u just clip... hope this helps.
