This is 2xposting, but I thought it'd be useful in here, also:
You can set up the phone so the pictures, movies, and sounds go straight to the card instead of the phone's memory:
Tools and settings>>>Memory (# eight)>>>Save options (#1)>>>Select each entry individually (pix, flix, and sounds) and select "card memory" and hit ok.
This gives you lots of room to make longer movies. To set the phone to allow longer movies:
Open the movie (click the right side button twice with cover open) and select the right soft key to select options. Setting #3 (time limit) allows you to select "available memory" so you can use as much as a gb of time, if needed.

Rever, just curious, but are you using the larger 1700 mAh battery? I tried doing a search with no success, but what is EV_DO used for and why don't you need it? Is it strictly for bluetooth users?
Thanks for the tip. I set mine to "1x only", so I figure if I really need it set back to "digital only hybrid", I'll know it soon enough. I like to take chances. My computer's registry is my playground. LOL

Apparently it has to do with vcast because it won't allow me to get vcast music. I don't download their music, anyway so I'm good. Would it effect anything else besides vcast music?

I haven't used Audacity, but for those who want to create or edit ringtones (or truncate songs etc.) I have an editor called WavePad which is really good, it's (legitimately) free and supports a wide variety of formats. Windows only I believe.

Good one! And I think this is a good place to post helpful tips. Well done.

I'm using the standard battery.
EVDO or Evolution Data Only/Evolution Data Optimized (often abbreviated as EVDO, EV-DO, EvDO, 1xEV-DO or 1xEvDO) provides fast wireless broadband access (3G) internet service directly to your phone. If you want to surf the web, etc., it's great. If not, turn it off and extend battery life.

Can you turn off your phone function and just listen to the MP3 player? I fly a lot and this would be great. I think I remember reading it somewhere but I can't find it now that I actually need it.
Thanks.

I believe if you put your phone in "Standalone Mode" it will only play music and not be able to send or receive phone calls.
Menu (OK), SETTINGS & TOOLS, Phone Settings (#5), Standalone Mode (#1), and choose On.

But don't dispair. If you want to make a call, a message will ask you if you want to turn off standalone and continue with the call. However, if anyone tries to reach you, they will just get a message, leaving you undisturbed.
