I have about 200 mp3s on my 1gb card.

The 2gb cards are available now (for about $100), but I do not believe the 8300 will accept them...I could be wrong.

okay, I am SO frustrated. I know how to send myself ringtones, I mastered that with ease, but everytime I try to put the freaking mp3s on my phone, and it seems that the only way I can get my phone to show up on my computer is to choose the synch option, so I do that, I drag the mp3s into the "Music" folder....... exit program in phone....... NO MP3. So I put it straight into the memory card, no subfolder.... exit program on phone. NO MP3. It automatically deletes EVERYTHING I put in there as soon as I exit the program in the phone.

And I don't know about the rest of you, but I do NOT have an mp3 folder in my memory card. It's all enabled, too. all of the 0000000 and the 5/2/2 whatever. It's all enabled. But I have no mp3 folder. and my stupid phone deletes everything I put on it right away.

And to top it off, I can't even get the songs to go on the damn phone when I use windows media player, either.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! WHAT AM I MISSING OR DOING WRONG?!?!?

Pimptress,
I suggest you FIRST put the card into your phone, format it, THEN put the songs into the mp3 folder created on the card by the phone.
GIve it a whirl.

Just received my phone two days ago and have been obsessed on programming it. Thank everyone for all your help.

I now have my first song in the ring tones using a data cable and QPST.

How do I get it to be louder on the phone? I followed the post but the volume on QPST was already all the way up and yes the volume is all the way up on the phone.

Does anyone know where the MP3's are stored? I do not have a card as of yet and would like to load some music and listen to
until I receive the new card in the mail.

I've had my VX8300 for about 5 days now and so far I've loved it, until today. I was taking my dog for a walk and listening to the mp3 player on the phone when the music just stopped. I looked at the phone and it was going through the list of all my songs on my 512MB card and it was saying "this file format is not supported". Up till today the mp3 player has worked completely fine. I took the card out and restarted the phone and tried everything I could think of but the phone wouldn't read the card. However, I plugged the card into my card reader and it read fine. Also, my sister has the identical phone so I put the card into her phone and it worked perfectly. I called Verizon and they said it could be a software or hardware problem and I should take my phone back and they'll exchange it for me. Has anyone else had this problem or have any thoughts of how I could fix it if it was a software problem?

Thanks
