Cellblock . . . were you successful in formatting your memory card? If not, this is what you need to do.
1. Go to Settings & Tools
2. Select Memory
3. Select Card Memory
4. Select Memory Usage, then Options.
After you select Options, you'll see the selection to "Format Card"

yes, i formatted it by putting it in the phone and holding the play button for a few seconds. i'm using a phone with ver.1. that's what the phone directions told me to do. but for big -j and all those out there that want to format their cards, i would follow the directions you just posted. seems like it's a sounder way of doing it. i'm lucky what i did worked. if i ever need to get a new 8300 for whatever reason i would format it the way you just posted. thanks

Yes, it plays mp3s. You must load them into phone. Use VCast Essential Manager to do it. MP3s will play from Vcast page or from front buttons.

Hey , topster and cellblock, thanks for all the help, i ended up getting a KRZR, and I love it, it took me about a minute to load on like 20 songs. It's very easy and uses mp3's. Thanks again for all your help. Joey

What is the setup to connect my VX8600 to my laptop so that my laptop can use the phone to connect to the internet. I already have the USB cable. Also, does it cost anything extra on my monthly bill if I use the phone in this manner, or does it just go against my monthly minutes?
