Hi all... I've scoured the manual and the web, and ended up here. I can't seem to find anyone that has posted about this yet.

The salesperson at the Verizon store told me the vx8300 can only handle 1GB memory. But then I read a review online here saying that it can handle a 2Gig memory card.

I can't seem to nail down this spec.

Is there anyone out there that has inserted a 2Gig card with success?
I would hate to buy a 1 Gig, and then find out I could have used a 2Gig.

Thanks for your help!

I have a 1 gig card in my 8300 now and it works perfectly. No idea about a 2 gig, though.

I just ordered a 2 gig from Costco online. It's on sale with $10 off. I will let you know.

No you didn't. 2GB cards won't be out until later this year, haha. Are you sure you didn't mistakenly order a 2GB miniSD card? The VX8100 takes miniSD cards and the VX8300 takes microSD cards. Quick, cancel the order before it's too late!! Haha.

If u go into the review lg phones in this site and select lg 8300.... it post everything u want to know. It does support 2gb... look for the section that refers to the phones storage.
