Thank you so much mikekay10 for your help. I downloaded and dowgraded with the first post and now I have the normal screen back not the white one. The phone seems to work perfectly except for one quite big problem.. I cannot receive calls or make calls. When I try to call I get "Call failed: not allowed" and when I try to call my mobile I get a voice that says "Sorry there is a fault, please try again." I have tried again but no success. I use a vodafone simcard that works in my other phone so why cant I call with my newly unlocked v3 with my vodafone sim? I have tried other sim cards as well but nothing works. Anyone got any idea how to fix this or why this has happened?? Many thanks!!!!

Does the phone display any message when you insert the sim and start it up?

No it all seem normal. when I call to the v3 from my homephone and the flip is closed I get a lady saying "Sorry there is a fault, please try again", but hen I call to the v3 and the flip is open I get a funny tone, not like a the phone is busy tone but almost. I still get the "Call failed: not allowed" when I try calling from the V3. Do you know how to fix it??

I forgot one thing, when the V3 is turned on it also makes a constant electric buzzing sound. Not loud but you can hear it when you have it close to you ear.

Ok I've thought about it a bit more. Maybe I was being hasty. What flex are you using? Is there any signal displayed? This isn't really about unlocking anymore so I'm going to move your posts to the main motorola talk forum after your next reply.
btw the buzz is totally normal all v3's do it.

No that is the flash version. I recommend you use a monsterpack - that will eliminate software issues. If you still have an issue swap sims with someone else long enough to identify if your phone is the problem.

Can I get a monster pack form here? http://www.planetmotox.net/monster_packs.php
If so which one do you recommend? Can I run it with RSD Lite 2.4? Or SmartMoto?
