Hi,

how are you?

I'm NewBibe for modding and recently I had just mod my L6 to put the Funlight (using the P2Ktools) and it was very successful but there is a problem (may be I had left out some setting which I not sure at the P2K tools during the exit) about my Short Message Service (SMS) which able to read, write & receive in Chinese character from other people sending to me. BUT it unable to send out in Chinese character, how should I put it the word....hmmm...

example :- I wrote the chinese text and send (SMS) to other people so when that person who receive and view it. which got nothing or some symbol on it even I had tested / try to SMS myself the Chinese text which also the same problem.

Can someone help me out... icon_ermm.gif

also to whoever read this and thank for a care to spend some extra time. icon_wink.gif

thankyou icon_clover.gif

Try SEEM 0032_0001 offset 3F - bit 4: SMS Unicode (1 on, 0 off)

Set it to 1 (on)

You will probably also have a phonebook issue which I can tell you the solution to if that is the case

I'm not 100% sure what you mean - but could it be SEEM 0032_0001 offset 54 - bit 6: function of right soft key when reading SMS message (0 delete, 1 reply)

Hello.

I have the same problem but in case of any language (English in my case). I cannot send SMS, but I can receive. I've read your replies about SEEM and other stuff, but I'm new to Motorola, so I'd appreciate your help in a more detailed way.

Thank you.
