Try deleting the two .db files in the phones audio folder and restart it

Hey! thanks for replying so quickly!
I tried looking for those files (from reading previous posts from you), but didn't find them in my audio folder. there wasn't any other file in my audio folder before i transferred my files over.

i must be looking in the wrong place... i don't see the a\ or c\ directories you're talking about... a picture is worth a thousand words ^_^ i'm a little tech-clueless.

Handset USB Driver for Windows if you are using 32bit Windows
If you are using 64bit Windows go for Handset USB Driver for Windows (64-bit)

so i'm struggling here.i've downloaded the motorola UID extraction program, but when i plug my phone in (slvr from verizon) and the add new hardware wizard pops up the computer can't find the necissary software for my hardware.using the driver directories winxp ect. my computer says that there are no files it can use.what is the problem? do i need to install something else? i can't seem to get anywhere with this.all i wanted was to use my music for ringtones
