What is a CDMA phone? Is the Motorola Razr V3i a CDMA? I found a driver that might help sort out my disconnect problems, but it's for CDMAs..

No the V3i is GSM. GSM and CDMA are different types of network which require different hardware to support them

CDMA is a technology used by sprint and Verizon and some others
The V3i afaik is a GSM device for that model number...
who is your service provider?

while your saying sprint uses cdma can you transfer fones form sprint over to verizon or is that impposible

no. CDMA providers will generally not activate a phone unless it is branded their own.
