Hi a few months back i lost my samsung D500 i foned 02 and told them to block my fone so if anybody found it they wouldnt be able to use it.....then i found it the other day foned 02 and see if they could unblock it...they said no but the weird thing is i put a vodafone sim card in it and the vodafone service logo came up but cudnt ring out, then i tried my 02 sim it says LIMITED SERVICE!!!!. What Product do i need to buy to unlock it myself and wat software do i need to download? I Have just downloaded firmware that says it has an 02 fix its called D500DDED4.
Moneys tight these days so could anyone tell me were the cheapest place is to buy the product i need.
Any Help Is Much Appreciated.

That'll be the correct cable m8 but you can get it cheaper from e-bay.

Also look for a software called SUS sometimes called Sunday Unlocking Software or Samsung Unlocking Software. That'll do unlocking and unblocking.

To get rid of the limited service problem, I think you need to change the imei number of your phone. This is because your imei number is blocked by a service provider. NOTE this is illegal in several countries so check before proceeding. You will need a serial cable, 9 volt battery, wimimei 1.07 and winimei 1.34 (google for them).
Below is the method to use to unlock and change the imei on your phone.

what you need is both winimei 1.07 and 1.34!!!

1. use winimei 1.34 to unlock the phone
2. open winimei 1.07 and read imei settings
3. enter the new imei you want to use (we are now only using 1.07)
4. click write imei, copy the generated key into keygen
5. enter keygen password into winimei but dont click start yet!
6. make sure that phone is off, has no sim and connect cable to phone but leave 9v battery unattached
7. click go on winimei, it will say entering tat mode, now plug in 9v battery, and press phone power button briefly...winimei will start
8. keep and eye on its progress, it will stop sometimes and say waiting for tat mode again, so just press the phone power button breifly whenver it does this and it will continue
9. this will happen about 3 times, at the end it will say pass and should take around 2mins to complete
10. take off 9v battery, cable and remove phone battery
11. put in sim and boot up phone...it should be working perfectly!!!

Good luck. icon_clover.gif
