Hi All

I am newbie and just want to say "Hi".

I have motorola V3 with cingular service. When I go into the phonebooks, it displays double contacts both from the sim and phone. How can I set it up to display only from the phone or from the sim?

Please help.

Thank you very much.

I read in the manual that it is possible to do this, but of course it does not tell you how to do it.

You don't happen to live in Baltimore, do you?

You can view multiple entries in the same name and that are stored all in phone memory as a single contact - that is all.

To hide the sim entries or the phone entries you would need to catagories - set all one set to say general and the other set to say business - however every time you reboot this will go back to viewing the all catagory.

You may be best off deleting one set of contacts

Can't you only have one phone number per name when stored on the sim card?
This means the info on the sim card would be the harder issue to organize, and the ones that should be deleted, but these are the ones you want to keep because there is less chance of losing the info in a disaster with the phone.
