I have a motorola a1000 and its great so far, I have flashed the phone and have it set up with my tmobile service here in the states. Now the only other problem I am having is that I get these weird text messages indicating that I have a voicemail. And to top things off I dont get any type of icon my my phone idicating that I actually have a voicemail. There are times when I check my voicemail and come to find out I have 6 new voicemails. Are there any firmware upgrades to correct this problem? Or am I the only one experiencing this problem? I have also come to find out that when I call my voicemail to check messages, right after I hang up I get the same weird text message again but no new voicemail.
Thanks a bunch guys

SEEM 0032_0001
offset 02 -
bit 1: BLOCKS THESE FEATURES: Call barring, Call transfer, Info Services, do not read VM number from SIM, Voicemail ^@ text messages, Multi-Line Support, My Network List, Manual Network Search (1 on, 0 off - set to 0 to UNBLOCK these features) some of these features may be SIM dependant anyway, so activating it on your phone may not actually allow you to use it
bit 4: ^@ and _@ VM Indicator SMS Msgs (1 off, 0 on) (**DOES NOT WORK RELIABLY**)
Try bit 4 - if you still have a problem do bit 1

I wonder if I am looking in the right area, but when I have my phone connected to my laptop I cant find this so called .seem file. Is it a hidden file or am I even looking in the right area? Also what of this P2kman app, where can I get it. The reason I ask is because the link in the tutorial takes me to the seem editor.
Once again thanks for all your help.

I think I was doing this correctly, well I tried bit 4 and bit 1 but I still get the same weird text messages when I get a voicemail.
Well this is what I did, I connected my phone via usb cable, then I ran the P2k app. It read my phone fine, then I entered 0032 and 0032 then clicked download. Saved the file to my desktop. Then I ran the seem editor app and clicked the locate file icon. Went to the file that was saved on my desktop. Then I entered 40 in the offset box. Then I entered 4 in the bit box and left 0 in the state box. The I clicked the set bit button. Last I went back to the p2k app and entered 0032 and 0001 in the 2nd set of boxes above the upload seem button. Then I clicked the upload button. Then I clicked the reset phone button and thats it.
Did I do this correctly??? I also did the same thing but I used bit 1 and state 0
Once again thanks for your help.
