For purely speculatory purposes, I think there's a good chance the LG Chocolate will sell for between $199-$249 on new contracts and come with a $50 MIR.

The LG Chocolate (VX8500) will belong to Verizon on August 16 and will be the same price of most VCAST phones, or $199 with a $50 mail-in rebate.

I've heard it will be available online first on July 31 at $149.99 after MIR w/ 2yr contract. Should be available in stores by Aug 7th.

I would definitely recommend this phone. I bought mine in China, on a family trip and it works great. Mine however is a gsm phone and therefore works with Cingular.

Per CNET, it will be on sale next monday (7-31) for release on 8-8. What I am concerned about is expandable memory on this thing. Here on mobeledia, it is showing as having a microsd slot. On CNET, there are showing no expandable and 512 mb built in.
Anyone have further details?
