I downloaded some games from www.getjar.com .
I installed and have successfully used Mobile Phone Tools, but unlike Nokia's software suite, it doesn't have a way to install apps.

How do I go about it?

When I try run P2K, it can't find my phone. Is the driver from MPT making the P2K one not work?

MPT and P2k use different drivers - see the guide in the tutorials section for connecting to p2k programs

I've been struggling with this for 2 days.

What device do I assign the P2K driver too? The modem, or the USB device? I assume MPT is using one with its driver.

I almost have MIDway working, but in the instructions I have there, when I go to load the .jad file, I get a "Timer Expired" error. I have the com ports matching. I think my problem is that in the MIDway info that I have found it says to:

"Settings -> Java Settings. It should be the first one called "Java App Loader." If you select it, it will come up with a screen that says "Insert Cable Now." This screen is always the first step for putting java applications onto the phone."
but I do not have the JAVA App Loader option on my V3.

For some reason when I try to run P2Kman on this machine at work, it just crashes.

Field1- 50
Field2- 1
Field3- 67
Field4- 1
Field5(D)- 247

After that on display will appear Results F1:0

Re boot your fone and it's done

I tried this (from the tips and tricks forum) but when I type the numbers, nothing happens.

Xdo i really have to uninstall MPT in order to get everything working?X(forget it, i got it under control)

can you give me the needed programs to install to the V3? i dont want to register just to install something. big thanks if u can icon_biggrin.gif

also, would i need to go through all that trouble to make any setting changes on my cpu just to import games into my motorola?

edit: how come it doesnt let me use both at the same time? by both, i mean not being able to use moto USB modem and moto USB device at the same time. it only lets me uses one or the other.
