Hi
Just went out and bought a new nokia fun camera for my 3300, assuming it would work with my nokia 3300 (as it has a pop port and i thought all pop port phones were compatible with pop port accessories, and it does say on the nokia webiste, compatible with 7210, and other compatible phones!!). So i plug it in and it says "accessory not supported". Why the hell not? it has exactly the same features as the 7210 and it works fine with that! is there anyway to get it to work? like download extra accessory settings or something? please please say i havn't just wasted £60 on a camera that i can't use!! all it needs to do is upload the pictures from the camera to the phone, if earlier models can do it, why cant this one? please help!!!

Yes, you've wasted 60 pound 
You should have better looked up under "Enhancements" of the site of your phone:
http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,8764,5823,00.html
Nothing mentioned neither about the Fun Camera nor about any camera.
And if nothing is mentioned under the compatibility list, it's not supported.
"and other compatible phones" can mean much and nothing.
You don't have informed yourself good before buying... your own mistake.
And the 3300 can't do it, because it's a "music"-phone, not a "normal" phone like the 6610/7210/etc.
It's built for listening to music and make calls... nothing more...

Hmmm... because that was a constructive post. How pathetic.
For your information the guys in the nokia shop said it will probably support it in future firmware upgrades, and they themselves couldn't understand why it would'nt work with it, and that was the STORE MANAGER.

not to be some kind of a-hole, but james dude stop posting here if you cannot post correct information. you probably don't even OWN a 3300, much less know anything about so shut the hell up ok? Every single post I've read by you tonite is wrong. I've hacked the hell outta my 3300 and once some software gets out there i'll be doin' a helluva lot more hackin' .. so keep those lips flappin' homie!
